Ray found himself without a place to live after getting out of a bad relationship. Believing he was helping his friend, Ray took the blame for a crime that was not all his. This landed him in jail for 45 days. Just as his sentence was ending, the historical flood hit our community and Ray’s car, his most valuable possession, was ruined. Instead of giving up, Ray moved into LifeHouse, got his job back, and started attending church. Ray is meeting with his case manager daily, participating in life skills classes, and attending weekly NA sessions. He told his case manager “Through LifeHouse, the vision of a better life is achievable.” Today, Ray is ready for his own home.
